The Celebration of Women and Girls supports programs changing the lives of women and girls in our community at both The Oasis Center for Women & Girls and PACE Center for Girls.

Founded in 2007, The Oasis Center for Women & Girls is a community resource center serving women and girls from all walks of life in Leon County. Oasis provides programs, services, and activities designed to address personal, professional, and economic concerns facing women, girls, and their families. In addition to direct services and community advocacy, Oasis provides an empowering and celebratory space for women and girls to come together, dream, achieve, and thrive.

PACE Center for Girls in Leon County is one of 19 PACE Centers around the state. A nationally recognized and research-based model, PACE features a balanced emphasis on academics and social services with a focus on the future for middle and high-school aged girls. The foundation of PACE is the gender-responsive culture, providing a safe environment that celebrates girls, services that take into account how girls learn and develop, and staff that understand the lives of girls.
